Welcome to Bhutan. After you land in Bagdogra, we will drive towards Phuntsholing, a border town. Our team will assist you in crossing into Bhutan. We will explore the Zangtopelri Lhakhang/ temple and have an introductory dinner. Overnight and Phuntsholing.
After breakfast, we will complete the immigration and drive towards Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. We will stop for sightseeing on the way since we will be seeing a lot of waterfalls, stupas, and beautiful scenery today. After checking into your hotel in Thimphu, we will go out to explore Thimphu town in the evening. Overnight at Thimphu.
After breakfast, we will visit Buddha point and memorial chorten, and visit Takin Preservation Centre. We will spend some time at Simply Bhutan. In the evening we will explore the handicraft market in Thimphu. Overnight at Thimphu.
We will check out from the hotel and head to Punakha. On the way, we will stop at Dochula Pass and enjoy the beautiful Himalayan ranges and 108 stupas, one of the most famous place in Bhutan. Upon arrival in Punakha, we will visit suspension bridge, Punakha dzong and the famous fertility temple. We will have a picnic lunch by the river side and travel to Paro. Overnight in Paro.
We will hike to Paro Taktshang (Tiger Nest) early in the morning after a very light breakfast. The hike can take between 3 to 5 hrs both ways depending upon the person. There’s horses for those who cannot hike to take you mid way. Post hike, you are free to explore Paro town for personal shopping or sightseeing. Overnight at Paro.
Today we will leave Paro and travel to Phuntsholing. On the way, visit Chelela Pass and stop at view points. Upon reaching Phunthsoling, we will visit Kharbandi Lakhang. We will have our last dinner together with the group. Overnight at Phuntsholing.
It's the end of our trip today. Post breakfast, we will bid farewell to everyone.
